About Us

Since 1981 we have been working with microcomputers. During the early 1980's the programs of choice were Lotus 123, Paradox, and Word Perfect. These programs set themselves apart with their macro capabilities. This ability to be programmed made these programs more powerful than their competitors. Repetitive tasks could be automated. During 1986 we started working with the award winning NewViews accounting software. The ability to customize and program NewViews to fit the business needs of it's users created a need for combined expertise in the fields of accounting, bookkeeping and programming.

J R Consulting has been customizing and programming NewViews since its inception. We developed the first laser printer drivers for NewViews in 1991. Our clients range from accountants, financial, golf courses, government, legal, manufacturing, non profit, retirement and nursing homes, to the service sector.
